REFUNDS & EXCHANGES
All sales are final. 
Please make sure you really want your piece, all items are handmade and your order cannot be cancelled.
Refunds, exchanges or cancellations will not be given just because you changed your mind.

Cotte de Mailles is not responsible for missing/lost or stolen packages.
Refunds or replacements are not given for packages that are lost in transit or for packages that are marked as delivered.
Refunds are not given for packages that arrived later than expected because of the post office being slow.


SHIPPING
Everything is made-to-order once your order is placed.
Once payment is received please allow up to 4-6 weeks for your order to be made. 
If you'd like your order to be made & shipped before everyone else's in queue, there is an Express Production option you can pay for.
Once your order is packed & dropped at the post office I have no control over what happens to it or how long it will take to arrive.
All orders are shipped via USPS flat rate shipping unless you choose priority shipping at checkout.

Every single piece is handmade, cleaned, packed & shipped out by one [1] person so please be patient!

**DOUBLE CHECK YOUR MAILING INFO**
I ship to the address I am provided and I am not responsible if your package gets lost or is sent back to me. 
Customer will have to pay for additional shipping if package has to be shipped back again.


PACKAGE INSURANCE
There is an option in the Add Ons section to insure your package! 
If in the rare occurrence that a package does get lost in the mail or gets stolen - please message me so we can try to fix this issue together.


OUT OF COUNTRY ORDERS, DUTY AND CUSTOMS FEES 
Orders shipped outside the United States may be subject to import taxes, customs duties and fees levied by the destination country. 
The recipient will be responsible for such charges. 

If package is returned to seller, recipient will have to pay shipping fees again if they still want their package.
Refunds are not given if recipient chooses not to accept package for whatever reason.


REPAIRS 
I will gladly fix up any old pieces no matter how long ago you purchased them, at no charge. (broken clasps, broken rings, tarnished rings, etc.) 
I will fix any pieces that don’t fit right, but please try to take measurements first if you’re unsure.


CUSTOM ORDERS
I am always open to doing custom orders and making the perfect unique item for you, if I have the supplies to do so.
Just send me an email with your idea and we can talk about our options. Once I receive payment for the custom order I will start on it.
All custom orders are final sale and cannot be refunded or exchanged.

**I do not get started on any custom orders until a payment has been made first. Thank you for understanding!


A BIT ABOUT THE MATERIALS I USE
Most pieces are 100% stainless steel.

Certain parts (spikes, beads, tassels, pins, etc) may be stainless steel or silver plated, which will be specified in the item descriptions.
All hardware like o rings, lobster clasps, etc are stainless steel and if they're a different material it'll be specified in the description. 
Silver plated parts may tarnish over time, stainless steel will never tarnish.

Stainless steel is considered hypoallergenic. It can be worn in water and will never rust, tarnish or corrode.
Stainless steel may contain small traces of nickel, if you have a high nickel allergy please keep this in mind. 
I try my best to use hypoallergenic materials, I will never use any materials made with nickel plating or any materials that are not body safe.

To wash pieces just use soap and water!
